Team Hope- Walk For A Cure

Our 4th Annual Team Hope-Walk for the Cure was the BIGGEST fund raiser in the history of the Illinois Chapter of HDSA, grossing $56,000. Approximately 350 people participated in the event. Including children and pets! Plans are already underway for the 5th Annual Team Hope-Walk for the Cure. The walk will be held, once again, in the beautiful Danada Forest Preserve, Wheaton, Illinois on Sunday, May 17, 2009. In the first 4 years of our Walk for the Cure, you have helped us raise $160,000 for HD Research, Family Services and Public Education. Our goal next year is to raise over $75,000 and have over 400 walkers. With your help, we can ALL make next year's walk even bigger and more successful than the walk this year. Remember that this is YOUR walk...walk for yourself, for those you love, and for all the families fighting daily to beat this horrific disease WALK TO CARE---CARE TO CURE!!!
